Parking
NOTE – Due to the effects of the wet weather, there will be no parking available on the grass by Shipley Hall Cricket Club this weekend. Runners are advised to seek alternative parking arrangements at Michael House School (5 minute walk), on the road near to the venue or at the Visitor Centre car park, which is a twenty minute walk away (pay and display).
Directions to Shipley Hall Cricket Club (DE75 7JH)
From Derby
Take the A608 out of Derby (Odeon Cinema) to Heanor, at Tesco Island turn right, past the market place to traffic lights. Turn right to A6007 Ilkeston, after approx 1 mile on left is Shipley Garden centre turn immediate right into ‘The Field’ follow road to the end (Counter Solutions) drop down hill and Shipley Hall Cricket Club entrance is on the right. .
From Nottm/Ilkeston
Follow signs for Heanor A6007, past Ilkeston Hospital on your left, take the next left signposted ‘The Field’ follow to end and down hill.
From the M1
Exit junction 26, A610 to Heanor and Langley Mill, leave A610 for A608 Heanor and Langley Mill. Follow road up a steep hill to traffic lights, keep in left lane and follow signs for Ilkeston A6007 after approximately 1 mile the Shipley Garden centre will be on the left directly opposite turn right into ‘The Field’ and follow to end to the Cricket club.
Changing Facilities
There will be changing and Toilet facilities available at the cricket club. No Showers available!
Refreshments
We hope to have a mobile snack bar serving tea/coffee, breakfast cobs etc on site
