WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
- A multi terrain 4 person relay race
- 4.5km course ( The old beloved route is BACK…. no more hills!)
- Gorgeous route along the Derwent River in Belper, Derbyshire
- Fully marshalled
- Bespoke medals for category winners
- Free kids fun run before the main race!
- Fancy dress and novelty team batons are encouraged!
- All running abilities welcome!
- Hold and cold refreshments available on site
- Team details do not need to be sorted until the day!
FAQ
- 2026 Race start times – Fun run 11.00am Main race 12.00pm
- Where is it? – Belper Meadows Sports Club (DE56 1BA)
- Categories – Senior/V45 – Male, female & mixed for each. 4 runners per team. Max 2 males in a mixed team. If entering as V45 all members should qualify in that category.
- Age limit for main race – 13 years old
- Is a baton required? – No – but comedy batons are welcomed 😊
- Is the fun run free? – Yes! And no need to book/register for this
- Where can I park? – Various free and paid options around Belper (list to be sent soon), onsite parking is £4 (TBC) and is limited – will require parking app (details to follow)
- Will food/drink be available? – Yes food and drink are available to purchase onsite
- Are there changing rooms and toilets? Yes and yes!
