The next Summer Special will be next Tuesday (28th) hosted by Shaun Bott with the start and finish at the White Lion, Starkholmes Road, Starkholmes, Matlock DE4 5JA – Start time will be 7-30..
Two routes (both quite hilly), one about 8miles, the other about 5miles. About two thirds will be off road and Shaun has got some route cards to hand out on the night, he will be leading the first group with Richard Mayne leading the second group.
Road shoes will be fine provided we have a few dry days before Tuesday. Probably wise if people bring trail/off-road shoes though just incase we have a spot of rain.
Food at the pub afterwards – £3.50 per head. The governor at the pub has asked that we park as far towards the back/top of the car park as possible to keep room in the car park for non-running pub goers.
