Ed’s guess on travel time is 35 minutes but might be worth anyone wanting to lift share / offering to drive to meet at the leisure centre at 6.30pm to be safe.
I wont be able to make it on the basis my legs and ankles are mashed after yesterdays rover but hope you all have a great run !!
The next Summer Special is on Tuesday 18th Aug and will be led by me (long route) and Helen Brunt (short route).
The link below provides a map showing both routes which start and finish at the Robin Hood PH on Chesterfield Road, Baslow DE45 1PQ. Travel time to the pub from Belper is around 35 mins. I anticipate a start time of 19:30, returning to the pub around 20:30. Both routes provide numerous opportunity to extend / shorten.
The Robin Hood will put on food with a buffet of chips, sandwiches and sausage rolls etc at a cost of around £4-5 per head, I will confirm numbers staying / dietary requirements before the run. Ed.
