This Sunday BDL X Country Info

Hi all, here is the information for Sundays race at Bakewell:
Well we are all set to go on Sunday for race no.3 of the 2015/16 season. We will be using the same course as last year so after all the recent rain expect the same sodden conditions and stiff, short climbs. We will also be retaining the crossing through the flooded section with the option to take the slightly longer route around the side. Here’s a reminder of the course:

No Christmas market this year as we are a week later, instead we have the Fatstock show in the Agricultural Centre itself. So if you are looking for that unusual Xmas pressie for your partner why not take home either a heifer, lamb or piglet – but don’t ask for a gift wrapping service though! What is does mean is the car parking around the centre will be unavailable on the day so please use the pay and display parking spaces immediately before reaching the main centre facing the rugby pitch. This is still accessed of the A6 as you begin to enter Bakewell, along Agricultural Way. Here’s the link for the centre:

Chatsworth and Haddon Hall have both opened for christmas visits so the roads maybe slightly busy but there are no serious road works at present

The public toilet facilities are at the far end of the centre, or if they are busy just over the bridge into town at the side of Boots. The Farmers Feast cafe will be open serving hot drinks, breakfast and a Sunday carvery.

Hope this is sufficient information, drop me a message if you need to know anything further. See you all on Sunday
