MIDWEEK AND FELL RACES
Next WEDNESDAY, 17 FEBRUARY, there are the monthly Derby Midweek Races from the Alvaston & Boulton Cricket Club, Raynesway, Derby with the ONE MILE at 7pm and the 5km at 7.20pm.
As I am currently in India, there will be NO PRE-ENTRIES, just turn up on the night, check the list of runners as you enter the pavilion and the get your number from registration. Newcomers will need to complete an entry form.
The entry fee is 4 pounds (no pound sign on Indian computers!!)
On SUNDAY 6 MARCH at 11am, we have the BLUEBELL FELL RACES from the pub of that name in Farnah Green, Belper, Derbyshire. I shall be accepting e-mail and text pre-entries from FRIDAY 26 FEBRUARY, the day I return to the UK. All that you need to do is to send the following details either to
z_entries_z@hotmail.com or to 077 47 77 62 33 :
SURNAME, FIRST NAME, DATE of BIRTH, AGE, CLUB (or state UN), MOBILE NUMBER & E-MAIL ADDRESS
You will then receive a confirmation from me including notification of your race number.
May I thank most sincerely those of you who made a recent donation to our work here in India. Yesterday, another new house for a poor family was completed and another one is up to roof level. In addition, a Fund has been created to pay the school fees for children from poor families to ensure that they have a chance of a better life. THANK YOU.
