“Hi folks, as Alan has said, please don’t forget to come down and give a shout out to all the Harriers running tomorrow 💨🏃.
Not too late to sign up and join a team for a 5k run round the Meadows, it’s looking glorious at the moment, plus no hills 😊!! We’ve got 60 plus fantastic running prizes, all worth at least £10 each, there’ll also be a few bottles on the prize table too, not forgetting a £30 voucher each for Derby Runner for the fastest male and female! As well as spot prizes. Come on and have a go.
Also Derby Runner are going to be with us with a stall, all set up for 1pm, you never know what bargain you’ll be able to pick up from them 😄.
If you’re not wanting to run, you could always bring the kids down for the fun run, every finisher gets a medal 🏅, and there’s three different distances for them.
Or just come down and have a drink 🍻, licensed bar open from 1pm, and a burger 🍔, Dave’s scouts will have plenty of hotdogs and burgers ready for you on the BBQ.
Also we don’t want to disappoint the WI ladies as they’ve been busy all week baking delicious cakes 🍰for their stall.
